1. Watching Community. (Everyone, go buy the DVDs to show NBC that the show is profitable!)
2. Making pie with my lovable pie-making minions.
3. Food and family on Thanksgiving. I finally met my cousin’s son, Xander! Cutest baby ever.
   (Related: picking Secret Santa names with all 3 Secret Santa groups. I am so glad I know who I’m buying for now!)
4. Karaoke with my mom’s family. Priceless.
5. La biblioteca.
6. GUMBO. Any recipe that begins with tearing the flesh from a turkey carcass and breaking the bones for stock is totally legit.
7. Leftover party with friends. I find that the same people are consistently there to celebrate with me. Love those guys.

Of course, there were quite a few other wonderful things this weekend, but calling these “highlights” kinda obligates me to pare it down.

I am thankful indeed.
